May 2013 - Notesbrowser Lite 1.1 released


After more than one year of development we are very proud to present our first mayor update of Notesbrowser Lite!

We have removed many bugs and made Notesbrowser Lite even more stable than it was before! Try it free of charge!

New and improved in Version 1.1

We couldn't improve much in Notesbrowser Lite - but here is a list of what we did:

New features:
  • application is digitally signed for Windows
  • small design changes
  • for new installations NB Lite is starting with the task in the taskbar and not the tray (can be adjusted later)
  • small improvements for multi monitor usage
  • the "insert" command in the category menu now can insert also pages from the clipboard
  • if you insert a page in a blank categoy, the name will be set to that of the pagename

Bugs removed:
  • if there were access problems and Notesbrowser could not save, in some rare cases there was no error message and a tempory file with the changes remained - now the error message will always appear
  • some font problem removed where the font was not changed beginning with the second description line on the second page
  • the wrong message will not be displayed any more at first start: "Attention: Notesbrowser found another version"
  • error handling in save process is improved
  • the Notesbrowser logo can now be clicked on in low screen resolutions
  • the logo at the botton cannot overlap the save button anymore
  • a rare bug was removed where a maximized field could not be minimized back anymore

  2. Un-Zip the file in a folder of your choice
  3. Create a shortcut to the file nblite.exe, for example on the Desktop

May 2013 - MP3 Timer 2.6 is released

May 2013 - MP3 Timer 2.6 Final is released!

Changes to the old version 2.5:
- if you stop the running MP3 it will be rewinded
- if you click on one of the "+" buttons or choose a time directly, the running MP3 will be stopped it it runs because the countdown elapsed
- removed bug where a direct entry of the time "00:00" produced an error
- a small bug in context of running the timer from USB flash drive was removed
- bug removed: if you click on pause but no MP3 was selected, there was an error
- the internal error handling is improved


Changes to the old version 2.4:
- filenames for MP3s that contain unicode characters (e.g. Chinese) are now supported (Thanks to Gordy for reporting)
- if the timer loses the focus, the timer will start running down
- application is digitally signed for Windows
